Abby & I (and Daddy!) had our 28 week appointment today. Everything is going marvelously. We heard her little heartbeat again (always lovely to hear) & I am measuring within the appropriate limits.
We've got the nursery put together. Its so adorable!!! Owls, foxes, squirrels, birds & woodland themes. We also found an adorable kitty painting that we put in there. I am going to take pictures here in a little while and put them up here. Its cute that Daddy gets super excited to help decorate Abby's room. He went to Target & found the most adorable little owl plush pillow things. He was so excited to show them to me, and it is really sweet. I told him that her room looks plenty decorated, and to remember that she'll need toys/books etc. *wink* He is such a proud papa already-- it makes my heart melt.
I suffered through my 3-hour GD screen & everything is clear. I really hope I don't have to do that with subsequent pregnancies, but what will be will be! It was intense. I am just watching my weight gain because I started out on the heavier side of things. I am by no means obese, but my BMI was higher than I would have liked pre-pregnancy.
That is why I have a plan to get super healthy after baby, but there will be time enough for that talk later. Just wanted to update the blog & say that everything is going awesome. We are excited. 2 more weeks to 30 weeks. Then its 10 weeks of the home stretch!
